There was a group of boys from camp who were having a camp fire. The fire got out of control and the house where Cropsy lived in went on fire. Cropsy tried saving his family by braking the door down with an ax, but the fire was so hot that it melted the ax onto his hand. He was screaming, his family had burnt to death. Ever since, he had been going after those camp boys and killing them one by one.
