My Father

My Father is a member of the volunteer ambulance service called HATZOLOH. On September 11, 2001 he was on the first ambulance-with his friend- at the WTC. He brought 3 patients to the hospital and returned to the site just before the towers came down. He ran with his friend to Battery Park. He then realized that he was injured and was put onto the ferry headed towards New Jersey. He was in a New Jersey hospital for a few days, after which he came home.
